Parkland wins Canada Day Classic, RiverDogs fifth, KIBT next

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops RiverDogs finished in fifth place in the Canada Day Baseball Classic, scoring all of their runs in the third inning in a 5-3 win over Red Deer.
Spruce Groves Parkland Twins repeated as champions, defeating Ridge Meadows 11-1 in the final.
Next up is the Kamloops International Baseball Tournament, starting Thursday.
This years teams are Seattle, Okanagan, St. Albert, Northwest Honkers, Everett, Highline, Alaska and Kamloops
