KMHA losing longtime head coach

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Minor Hockey is losing its longtime head coach.

George Cochrane is leaving to take over as the manager of programs for B.C. Hockeys new Okanagan Regional Centre in Salmon Arm.

Cochrane has been the head coach of Kamloops Minor Hockey for the last 11 years.

The new regional centre in Salmon Arm will provide a focus on support for coach and officiating development, and act as a resource centre for Okanagan Mainline Minor Hockey Associations, including KMHA.
