KAMLOOPS — BC Wildfire Service crews have jumped on a pair of fires in the Interior, one in the Kamloops Fire Centre.

That blaze popped up Friday near Guichon Creek in the Logan Lake area, about one kilometre southeast of the intersection of Highways 97C and 97B.

Fire Information Officer Justine Hunse says that spot-sized blaze was quiet over the weekend, but began smoking again today.

Meantime, a much larger fire ignited in the Cariboo Fire Centre on Friday, about 40 kilometres southwest of Lac La Hache.
