KAMLOOPS — A 34 year old Chilliwack man is facing charges after he was found with a stolen truck in Sahali yesterday.

An employee of a hotel on Columbia Street West called police Wednesday morning, after noticing a man and woman inside a pickup truck acting suspicious.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says the truck was stolen.

"When the vehicle identification number was run on the truck, it was found to have been stolen from Langley the day before. A rifle and numerous break-and-enter tools were also found inside of the vehicle. The male suspect, previously from Chilliwack was known to police and he is being held in custody to go before a judge," explained Shelkie.

Shelkie says the woman was released without charge.
