KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers have announced their hockey operations staff for the 2017-18 season.

Don Hay will return as Head Coach for his fourth season behind the Blazers bench. Hay rejoined the Blazers for the 2014-15 season after spending 10 seasons in Vancouver.

Mike Needham, Chris Murray and Dan De Palma will all return in their roles. Needham will start his fourth season as a full-time Assistant Coach. Chris will continue in his role as a part-time Assistant Coach for his fourth season. De Palma enters his eighth season as the Blazers Goaltender Coach.

The Blazers will not replace Assistant Coach Terry Bangen. He has joined the expansion Worcester Railers of the ECHL as an Assistant Coach for the 2017-18 season.

In the scouting department, Matt Recchi will continue his role as the Blazers Director of Player Personnel. He has managed the Blazers 50-man protected player list for the past nine seasons. Head Scout Ken Fox will be in his 10th season with the hockey club.

Colin ‘Toledo’ Robinson will be back for his 13th season as the Blazers Athletic Trainer. Robinson is entering his 22nd season in the WHL and has been on the bench for over 1500 WHL games.
