Fire crews make quick work of bin blaze

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue has made quick work of a fire in a large industrial bin on the Tk’emlups Reserve this afternoon.
The fire was reported at about 2:20 coming from Progressive Rubber on Chilcotin Road.
Black smoke could be seen billowing from the fire for a short time before Kamloops Fire Rescue crews arrived to douse the flames.
No one was hurt, and investigators will now look into the cause.
