City holds annual Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off Day

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops residents can get rid of their household chemicals for free today.

The City of Kamloops is hosting its annual Household Hazardous Waste Drop Off at the Mission Flats Landfill.

Acceptable items include motor oil, batteries, paint thinners, pool and hot tub chemicals and more.

The event is aimed to help the environment by disposing waste products responsibly.

The drop off runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is a popular one, so expect a wait.
