Developer pledges to finish partly built condo project

KAMLOOPS — A Western Canadian development company has confirmed plans to bring a half-finished Kamloops condo project back to life.

Brentwood Developments says Hudson’s Bay Landing along the Summit Connector will include 89 rental units divided between two towers.

The development will also include underground parking, a fitness studio and a child-friendly outdoor play area.

Occupancy is scheduled for early 2018.

A partially-constructed tower has stood at the location for about six years, originally part of the Mission Hill development.
