TORONTO — The CFJC newsroom has been honoured with a national award recognizing excellence in radio news.

At the national Radio Television Digital News Association awards this weekend in Toronto, B-100 was awarded the Byron MacGregor Award for Best Newscast in a small market.

This is the third time B-100 and anchor James Peters have been recognized by the RTDNA at the national level, also winning the award in 2010 and 2014.

It comes after the CFJC newsroom took three major honours at the BC regional awards in April.
