KAMLOOPS — The wildfire that broke out near Lumby Tuesday is not officially under control, but there’s been no problems with any flare-ups.

Max Birkner from the BC Wildfire Service says the Cooper Mountain blaze remains at 4.7 hectares, and still has about a dozen crew members on site.

He says they still don’t know the cause, but it’s believed to be human-caused.

Meanwhile, the blaze that broke out Tuesday near Tete Jaune Cache in the Mount Robson Provincial Park area crews have been able to bring the fire to a standstill.
