KAMLOOPS — BC Hydro says help is on the way for those still without power after Tuesday night’s windstorm hit the BC Interior.

Spokesman Dag Sharman says crews have worked non-stop to repair hundreds of small outages.

“It’s been a heck of a battle, but they’ve made great progress. They worked through the night the last couple of nights and are now down to 3,838 customers who are without power as I speak. Most of those are in the 100 Mile House area, some in the Clearwater area as well,” said Sharman.

Sharman says a windstorm like this is that it does damage in a lot of different spots, all that need individual attention.
