Sydor back in the NHL

KAMLOOPS — Darryl Sydor is back in the NHL.

The Blazers co-owner has been hired as an assistant coach with the St. Louis Blues, where he’ll be re-united with Blues head coach Mike Yeo.

They were together for six season, first with Houston in the American League and then five seasons with the Minnesota Wild, when Yeo was head coach and Sydor his assistant.

Sydor wrapped up his 18-year playing career playing with the Blues in the 2009-10 season.
