Charges laid after violent incident in 100 Mile House

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — A 20 year old man is facing a raft of charges after a violent incident in 100 Mile House more than one month ago.

RCMP are releasing few details, but say the incident occurred on March 29, and resulted in an investigation by RCMP in 100 Mile House and Williams Lake.

Jesse Dean Meade remains in custody, and has been charged with one count each of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and uttering threats.

Meade also faces five counts of breach of probation.

His next court date is set for May 10.
