RiverDogs sweep Vancouver Mounties

KAMLOOPS — The RiverDogs beat the Vancouver Mounties in a doubleheader on Sunday to improve to 5-and-1 in the B.C. Midget Baseball League.

In the first game the RiverDogs took a 3-0 lead and then held off a late rally by the Mounties in a 3-2 win.

The RiverDogs won the second game 12-0 with Christian MCaulay pitching a complete game one hit shutout.

Rhys McKenzie drove in five runs on three singles and a double.
