Kamloops Rural RCMP are investigating a possible instance of dangerous mischief to dirt biking trails in the Heffley Creek area.

Last Saturday, RCMP received a report from a dirt biker that there was a wire strung across trails in the bush near the Heffley Creek eco depot.

The rider had hit the wire with his bike and broken it.

At the location, there was no flagging tape on the wire, and no signage indicating riders should not use the trails.

Police say the incident could have caused serious injury, and are asking anyone with information on the incident to call Kamloops Rural RCMP at 250-314-1800.

Day of Mourning to remember those killed in the workplace
