Man seriously injured after Overlanders leap

KAMLOOPS — A man has been taken to hospital after an apparent jump from the Overlanders bridge late Wednesday afternoon.
RCMP received a report that a man had leapt from the south end of the bridge around 4:15 p.m.
The man is believed to have swam to shore, where Kamloops Fire Rescue carried him up the side of the riverbank to an ambulance.
The man has serious injuries and has been transported to Royal Inland Hospital.
