KAMLOOPS — The guest speaker at last weekends Kamloops Sports Hall of Fame and Sports Council awards banquet was Olympic swimmer Ryan Cochrane.
When he announced his retirement last month CBC referred to Cochrane as the man who saved Canadian swimming.
After one medal in swimming in Sydney in 2000 and a shutout four years later in Athens, along came Ryan Cochrane.
