Suspect arrested following bank robbery in Downtown Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Police have arrested a 40-year-old man from Vancouver following a daylight robbery at a Downtown bank.

Shortly after 5pm Friday (March 31st) RCMP members responded to the TD Canada bank on the corner of 3rd Avenue and Victoria Street.

Following an extensive search the suspect was arrested around 8:30pm, and will remain in custody until Monday for a court appearance.
