KAMLOOPS — The Victoria Royals have confirmed that head coach Dave Lowry and defenceman Mitchell Prowse have tested positive for mumps.

Tests have shown that another player, Ralph Jarratt, did not have the mumps virus.

Lowry was isolated from the team after the first of two games in Kamloops last week, while Prowse missed both games.

That led to a lockdown of the usual visitors dressing room at the Sandman Centre, forcing the Vancouver Giants to use the old visitors room when they played the Blazers last Saturday.
