KAMLOOPS — The Blazers will be without two of their top players for the rematch Friday against the Victoria Royals.

The Western Hockey League announced on Thursday afternoon that both Deven Sideroff and Ondrej Vala have been suspended one game. Sideroff, along with Royals forward Jared Dmytriw, staged a fight six seconds into Kamloops’ 5-2 win over Victoria on Wednesday night. Sideroff dropped the gloves in response to a hit Dmytriw put on him last month in Victoria that left him with a concussion and forced him to miss a game.

Vala, meantime, is being disciplined for a knee-on-knee hit on Vladimir Bobylev.

The Blazers have also been fined $500 as a team.
