KAMLOOPS —  We will get an update this morning in the case of a teenager killed while waiting for a bus in Aberdeen last November.

16-year old Jennifer Gatey was killed November 4th while waiting for a bus only 30 meters from her Aberdeen home.

A passing vehicle struck and instantly killed her on the eve of her 17th birthday.

The person responsible for the death did not stop and left the scene.

Police were led by surveillance video to the owner of a Jeep in the Mount Dufferin area, but while the Jeep was impounded for forensic examination, no arrests have ever been made.

There's no indication what today's announcement from Superintendent Brad Mueller will disclose.
