KAMLOOPS — There has been another delay in setting a trial date for a man accused in a baseball bat beating last June.

Kristopher Teichrieb is charged with attempted murder after young Jessie Simpson was beaten with a baseball bat near Teichrieb’s Brocklehurst home.

A trial date was to be set in BC Supreme Court on Monday, but that was put forward to March 6. Crown prosecutors are still sorting out an indictment in the case.

Simpson remains in critical condition at Royal Inland Hospital in a coma.
