Suspect nabbed in TD bank robbery

KAMLOOPS —  RCMP have a suspect in custody following the Friday afternoon robbery at the TD bank downtown.

Sergeant Darren Michels says after police investigation, and a followup on several tips from the public, they located and arrested a 52 year old man.

They've charged him in the robbery, and he is expected to make a court appearance today.

The suspect's name hasn't been released. 

About 1:35 Friday afternoon, a man went into the TD bank on Victoria Street, indicated he had a weapon and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No weapon was actually seen during the robbery, and noone was hurt in the incident.
