City puts call out for Distinguished Service Awards

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops is putting a call out for its Distinguished Service Awards.

Every year the city acknowledges Kamloops residents who dedicate their time to improving the well-being of the city.

Mayor Peter Milobar says this year's awards are split into three categories.

"We have a youth category for residents 18 years and younger, a young adult category for people 19 to 30 years old and an adult category for those 30 years and older. People with a wide vareity of experience is who we're looking for."

Award winners will attend a formal reception put on by the city.

Deadline for submissions is March 3rd.
