Thursday night, the United Way celebrated a milestone in the campaign. they’re now two-thirds of the way through their three-year mission to raise funds for those in need in the region. Executive Director Danalee Baker says so far, the campaign is on track to meet its goals.

The United Way’s mandate means they’re involved in communities as far north as Williams Lake, as well as throughout the Thompson and Nicola valleys. Baker says the organization supports a variety of different groups throughout these communities.
