U-Haul highlights Kamloops as a top growth city

KAMLOOPS — U-Haul Canada says Kamloops is number one on its 2016 list of Top Canadian Growth Cities.

According to the moving equipment rental company, 55.2 per cent of all Kamloops one-way U-Haul rentals last year came to the city, while only 44.8 per cent left the city.

The surge in arrivals over 2015 was 16 per cent.

While Kamloops held the top spot, the next seven cities on the list are all in Ontario.

Vernon holds down the 15th spot on the list, while Merritt comes in at number 24.
