KAMLOOPS — The Thomspon Rivers University Men’s Basketball team finished off their 2017 home court schedule with a disappointing loss to the visiting University of Calgary Dinos, Saturday night.

The ‘Pack trailed by 10 at the half, but a 12-0 run after halftime by the Dinos sunk TRU, as the visitors outscored the hosts 24-10 in the 3rd quarter. The Wolfpack would outscore the Dinos 20-12 in the 4th, but the damage had already been done, as Calgary coasted to 76-60 win over Thompson Rivers.

Volodymyr Iegorov scored 16 and had 8 rebounds in 29 minutes in his final regular season home game with Wolfpack.

TRU Travels to Regina next weekend, hoping to even up their record for the season, and remain in the playoff picture. Right now, the team is 8-10 on the year, and sits in 11th spot in the Canada West standings; Regina is 7-11, just one win behind the ‘Pack. The top 12 teams in Canada West make the playoffs.
