KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking for a man they believe to be involved in a pepper spray incident at a downtown McDonald's Tuesday afternoon.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says RCMP were unable to gather any clues from surveillance footage at the restaurant located at 3 Ave and Victoria St.

However, a witness was able to give a vague description of the suspect.

"We now know that the suspect was travelling with two females," Shelkie said, "and all of them left the area immediately after the male had discharged some pepper spray at the outside door of the McDonald's."

According to the witness, the male and two females left in a vehicle.

Originally, emergency personnel at the scene reported 6-7 patients, however Shelkie says only one man received medical attention at the scene but was not seriously injured.

She says others were aware of the spray, but did not require medical treatment.

"We're just asking anybody who may have witnessed the incident and have a description of the suspect to call us or call Crime Stoppers."
