Blazers trip ‘Tips in Everett

KAMLOOPS — Lane Bauer scored two goals, including one shorthanded, to power the Kamloops Blazers to a 5-1 win over the Everett Silvertips.

Devon Sideroff, with a goal and an assist, Nick Chyzowski, and Quinn Benjafield rounded out the offence for the Blazers.

Dylan Ferguson stopped 37 shots in goal, while the Blazers scored four times five times on 29 shots.

With two road wins this weekend Kamloops is three points ahead of Victoria for third place in the B.C. Division, and seven ahead of fourth place Kelowna.
