VAVENBY, B.C. — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District says it now has three consecutive days of clean tests from the North Thompson River near Vavenby.

The district is testing the water after a crash one week ago resulted in a semi’s fuel tank emptying diesel fuel into the river.

An Interior Health Do Not Use order has been put in place from the site of the crash, near Avola, all the way down to the confluence of the Clearwater River.
