KAMLOOPS — RCMP say there is no danger to the general public after a pepper spray incident outside the TNRD Library on Victoria Street last night.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says a man was pepper sprayed just after 6:00 p.m., and wasn’t particularly helpful when investigators asked him about the suspect.

“When we arrived, we found the male victim who had been pepper sprayed, however he did not have any details to share with us regarding who the suspect was. He was treated on scene by paramedics and was fine,” stated Sheklie.

Shelkie notes one or two bystanders may have been affected, but not seriously.
