RCMP seize $250,000 worth of drugs near Chase, B.C.

CHASE, B.C. — RCMP have pulled what they deem a significant amount of drugs from a vehicle stopped near Chase Wednesday.

Police say the vehicle, bearing Saskatchewan plates, was headed eastbound on the Trans Canada Highway.

The officer searched the vehicle, finding about 28 kilograms of marijuana, along with two cases of THC drink and bags of gummy bears believed to be laced with THC.

Total value is believed to be about $250,000.
