Don Hay closing in on all-time WHL wins

KAMLOOPS — Don Hay has been at the coaching game, as a fulltime coach, for 25 years.

Eighteen seasons in the Western League and seven as a head or assistant coach in the NHL or American League.

Last Friday’s win over Kelowna was another benchmark in Hay’s Western League coaching career.

It was his 700th win —– or, was it?
