Wolfpack Men's Volleyball team swept on the road

Calgary, AB- The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack wound up their first weekend Canada West men’s volleyball regular season of 2017 being swept on the road. 

The WolfPack kicked off a four match road swing losing to the host University of Calgary Dinos Friday night (Jan 6).

TRU lost in straight sets to the Dinos. The scores at the Jack Simpson Gym were 25-23,25-18,30-28.

The WolfPack were close in the first set but again couldn’t finish in that set and the third.  Daniel Eikland Rod (5th year, outside hitter, Oz, Norway) led the way offensively for TRU with 11 kills in 18 swings.

RECORDS:

TRU:  1-11  Calgary: 5-7

The WolfPack will continue their four game road trip as they visit Langley, BC next weekend (Jan 13-14) to face the Trinity Western University Spartans.
