KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Rivers University Students' Union has landed a heavy hitter in progressive Canadian politics for its annual Common Voices Lecture.

Author Naomi Klein will deliver this year's lecture on February 7.

Klein is best known as the author of capitalist-critiquing books No Logo and The Shock Doctrine.

She is also the co-author of The Leap Manifesto, a document that calls for the radical reworking of the Canadian economy to move away from dependence on fossil fuels.

Tickets to Klein's lecture are available through the Students' Union.
