KAMLOOPS — Another sign that Christmas is fast approaching, the CP Holiday Train rolls into Kamloops this afternoon (December 15).

The train, which is scheduled to arrive at 4:45 behind Sandman Centre provides a big boost for the Kamloops Food Bank.

It's one of the most important fundraisers for the non-profit organization and Executive Director Bernadette Siracky says she hopes the weather doesn't keep people away.

"This year is going to be the coldest year I believe we've ever experience with this event. If you're coming down, please dress like you are going skiing. Put on the long johns, wrap scarves around those kids' faces - but boy, is it going to be fun."

Siracky says, if you're wondering what kind of donation to bring for the food bank, just think of anything your family might eat.
