Roadblocks snare 29 impaired drivers

KAMLOOPS — RCMP have released the results of their latest round of Counter Attack roadblocks.

The roadblocks, which were set up during the past two weekends, resulted in 13 three day immediate roadside prohibitions (IRP), and another ten 90 day IRPs.

Another six 24 hour prohibitions were issued for drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says that’s a total of 29 drivers who were impaired.
