KAMLOOPS — Operation Red Nose kicks off for another year tonight (Nov. 25).

The volunteer service offers safe rides home to those who have been enjoying the Christmas spirit.

Co-ordinator Katie Klassen says the service is not just for individuals.

"Mostly we get Christmas parties that are looking for a safe ride home. There are some businesses who set up vouchers with us prior to their Christmas party, so they can take a safe ride home, and then they make a donation on behalf of all their employees after their Christmas party," explained Klassen.

All donations to the service help local athletes through Pacific Sport.

The service is offered from 9pm-3am on Fridays, and Saturdays through the holiday season, new this year is that the service will be offered on Thursdays, begining on December 1st and again on the 8th, and 15th.
