Snowfall warning out for Coquihalla and Rogers Pass

KAMLOOPS —  There’s a snowfall warning in effect for the Coquihalla Highway today from Hope to Merritt.

10 centimeters of snow is expected to fall today, another 15 centimeters tonight. Gusty winds as well in the forecast for the highway. Lesser amounts forecast for the section from Merritt to Kamloops and the Okanagan Connector. 

There’s a snowfall warning in effect for the Rogers Pass area as well with 10-15 centimeters of snow expected. And heavier snow amounts up to 20 centimeters forecast for tonight. 

In Kamloops, we’re looking at a 60 percent chance of showers or wet flurries today with gusty winds. Highs to 8. More showers or flurries expected tonight. Mainly sunny tomorrow with highs to 6.
