KAMLOOPS — They take hard hits, sometimes they take cheap shots, and sometimes they talk trash —- but after push comes to shove, the hockey family is a close knit one.

While the nature of the game is competitive, when one of its own is in a difficult way, the hockey family rallies around.

So it is with Craig Cunningham — an American Hockey League player, who remains in critical condition in an Arizona hospital.
