KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking for a person responsible for pepper spraying three people before stealing a vehicle.

Police say a couple was showing their vehicle to a prospective buyer in the parking lot of 1210 Summit Drive Saturday shortly after 10 p.m.

While the couple was having a conversation with a family friend the man looking at the vehicle pepper sprayed the three of them, stole the vehicle, and left.

The victims were treated for effects of pepper spray at the scene.

The stolen vehicle is a silver 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe with BC license plate 958ATP.

Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
