KAMLOOPS — What do you get when you cross the speed and endurance of road cycling, with the terrain and technical skill of mountain biking?
You get cyclocross — a sport with a huge following in Europe, and growing in Canada.
Kamloops hosted the cacti-cross, a B.C. interior cyclocross event last Sunday at Riverside Park.
It’s being promoted as a future Olympic sport, and one you need to see to get a clear understanding of what it’s all about.
