NDP has first announced candidate in Shuswap riding

SALMON ARM — The NDP has its first candidate in the Shuswap riding for next May’s provincial election.

Sylvia Lindgren is an educational assistant who works at Salmon Arm Secondary.

She is also the president of CUPE local 5-2-3 in the North Okanagan Shuswap School District.

She says her biggest concern is the loss of services in education, home care, and health.
