KAMLOOPS — Tentative dates have been set for a preliminary inquiry into charges against the Kamloops man accused in a brutal baseball bat beating in Brocklehurst in June.

Kristopher Teichrieb is scheduled to return to court for four days starting on January 23 to determine if the case can proceed to trial.

Teichrieb is charged with attempted murder in the beating of 19 year old Jessie Simpson.
