Undead horde takes over downtown Kamloops for Zombie Walk

KAMLOOPS — A swarm of the undead appeared in Kamloops over the weekend. Rotting flesh, severed limbs, and Michael Jackson music drew in a few dozen  zombies, or “walkers”, as they’re known as these days.

A quiet afternoon in Downtown Kamloops was disrupted by a horde of shuffling zombies, on Saturday, albeit, quite organized, and well-behaved zombies. Despite reeking of decay and corruption, the zombies wanted to remain respectful of their surroundings, by making sure the undead in attendance didn’t break character, didn’t shuffle into traffic., and didn’t get any blood and gore on the windows of downtown businesses.

With the ground rules for their shuffling quest for fresh brains firmly set in place, the zombies departed their gathering place, and made their way through the streets of downtown, stopping only to make young children cry, and of course to do what zombies do best. Dance.
