KAMLOOPS — Former Kamloops Councillor John O’Fee has been named the new chair of the Interior Health Board of Directors.

O’Fee succeeds Erwin Malzer, whose tenure expires at the end of the year.

Malzer served on the IH board for ten years, including the past two as chair.

O’Fee joined the board earlier this year, and is best known in Kamloops as a longtime councillor, former school trustee, federal political candidate, and one time CEO of the Tk’emlups Indian Band.
