City of Kamloops to receive compensation for TCC building repairs

KAMLOOPS — A settlement has been reached between the city of Kamloops and all parties involved in damages to the Tournament Capital Centre Fieldhouse. 

The TCC Fieldhouse experienced years of moisture leakage after its construction in 2007. In 2013, the cause of the water ingress was traced back to the original construction of the facility.

The City has agreed to compensation for the damages to the tune of $865,000.

TCC Fieldhouse designer Stantec Architecture Ltd, and general contractor D&T Developments will have to foot the bill.
