KAMLOOPS — Arraignment has been delayed yet again for the man accused in a brutal baseball bat beating in Brocklehurst over the summer.

39-year-old Kristopher Teichrieb is charged with attempted murder in connection to an assault near his Brocklehurst home on June 19th that left 19-year-old Jessie Simpson in coma.

Teichrieb is alleged to have chased Simpson off his Clifford Avenue property in the early morning hours before assaulting him with a baseball bat.

The teenager remains in hospital.

This morning, Teichrieb appeared by video in BC Provincial Court in Kamloops where his arraignment was put over to October 27th.
