KAMLOOPS — The Thompson-Nicola Film Commission has issued a casting call for a feature film shooting in Kamloops starting late this month.

Film Commissioner Vicci Weller says the film ‘Beautiful Voice’ is set in the Middle East, and the production company is looking for people who fit in that setting.

“Males and females, all ages, that have a Middle Eastern or Mediterranean look. Also for East Indian, Hispanic, First Nations and any kind of mixed ethnicities, so that they can project somebody that lives in the Middle East,” explained Weller.

Extras casting will take place this Sunday, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at Sahali Mall.
