RCMP help man on downtown roof

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP say a man who caused a stir in the city’s downtown this afternoon is safe.
The man was reported on the roof of a building in the 300-block of Victoria Street, and witnesses say it appeared he needed help.
Officers responded and took the man into custody, helping him to the ground floor.
Police say they appreciate the assistance of the public.
